Focus and Scope

Master of Pedagogy in Technology (MAGITECH) journal is here to serve the educational community by disseminating research on the use of technology to improve teaching and learning. The focus of the journal is to explore the specific role that technology can play in educational settings, emphasizing empirical evidence from both quantitative and qualitative design-based research. It also includes in-depth analysis of how new technologies can support learning and professional development for teachers at all levels of education.

The journal aims to promote the advancement of research and scholarship in all areas of education (mathematics education, science education, social education, etc.); to provide a forum for discourse on the implementation, practice, and research on the role of teaching and educational technology; to provide a forum for debate on contemporary issues; to provide a forum for discussion on the role of educational technology in training and professional development; and to develop greater awareness, understanding, and collaboration among educators.

The journal welcomes all contributions that extend or strengthen what has already been published in the field of pedagogy and technology, and for those involved in teacher education. Specifically, the journal seeks to publish articles related to:

• Educational technology practices and innovations in education (primary and secondary, teacher education, higher education, and informal settings);
• Theory and practice of educational technology in teaching and professional development/learning;
• Evaluation of the impact of educational technology on teaching and learning;
• Social, cultural, political and economic aspects of educational technology and pedagogy, particularly in relation to improving educational opportunities for disadvantaged learners;
• Learners working with educational technology.

Peer Review Process

Every article submitted to the editor will be selected through the Initial Review process by the Editorial Board. Then, the article will be sent to the reviewer and will enter the next selection by Double Blind Review Process. At this stage, the editor will assign one (1) or more reviewers for each article. This process takes a maximum of one month. In each manuscript, the reviewers will assess the substance and technical aspects. The reviewers involved are experienced in managing and publishing prestigious journals

Master of Pedagogy in Technology operates on a model where all articles published are freely accessible to readers worldwide, ensuring the widest possible dissemination of research. To cover the costs of publication and maintain the high quality of our journal, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to manuscripts that are accepted for publication. APC Amount: The APC for an accepted article in Master of Pedagogy in Technology is 10.00 (USD). This fee is applicable to all articles accepted for publication, regardless of length or type.
